By default images can only be inserted and displayed in the body part of a post. Unless you apply a trick, the images will not be displayed in the excerpt
First, write your post as you would normally do. Then place your cursor in your text where you want to insert an image. Locate this button in the toolbar and press it:
![]()
The image editor will now open.

Click on the “browse..” button and locate the image you would like to upload. Click on “upload” to upload it. Once your image is uploaded, it will be shown in the filmstrip. The images are ordered alphabetically so you’ll probably have to scroll to find your image. Once you’ve found the image, click on it to select it. Now that your image is selected, you can set the alignment. To have the image on the left side with your text wrapped nicely aroundit, choose “left”.
Don’t forget to give your image a bit of horizontal spacing (H space) to make sure there’s a bit of space between your text and the image. setting H space to10 will render it nicely.
